Love Handles

Love handles are bulges of fat either side of the stomach. They’re one of the most stubborn parts of our body to burn fat from.

Despite exercising, it’s very common to be stuck with love handles and they can give you a lack of confidence, especially if you work out and eat healthily. They can be a false representation of an unhealthy lifestyle.

Love handles that refuse to go away are usually a result of genetics. However, there is something you can do about them.

Treatment from renowned cosmetic surgeon Dr Benji Dhillon here at Define Clinic can see your confidence surge as you bid farewell to love handles.

This clinic is one of the best I’ve been too. All of the staff are lovely and the practitioners definitely know what they’re doing. For my first procedure (CoolSculpting), I felt really welcomed, well informed and felt genuine care. Highly recommend!

I work out regularly and watch what i eat, however was unable to direct my weight loss where I wanted to! I decided to try Coolsculpting and am so happy with my results. I had a consultation with Paige at the clinic, who ensured I was well informed of the risks and what the procedure involved.

The clinic was clean and luxurious and I was able to catch up on Netflix whilst I had my treatment. The post treatment massage on the area was my least favourite part but nothing I couldn’t handle.

I am 12 weeks post treatment and couldn’t be happier. I have given permission for my photos to be used so if you are sceptical please ask to see them! You will not be disappointed!

Paige At Define Clinic is the most wonderful and helpful practitioner I have ever came across. I have had a Coolsculpting done with her and can highly recommend her professional and honest approach. Paige is highly experienced , caring and have the safety of the patient as her highest priority.

Love Handles FAQs

  • CoolSculpting technologically lowers the temperature of your fat cells. This causes them to self-destruct permanently without damaging the surrounding areas.

  • Anyone who has fat they’re struggling to lose in areas difficult to target through exercise can benefit from CoolSculpting. One of our experienced clinicians will guide you to the right treatment.

  • Factors like the size of the area we’re targeting and the amount of fat we’re reducing can vary the treatment time. For example, a double chin will take less time than the area around your stomach. We recommend contacting us directly to discuss your options further.

  • You can continue with your day as normal pretty much straight after treatment.

  • Absolutely. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive experience. This means no needles or surgery is necessary.

  • Yes. Your fat cells are also less encouraged to grow in the future after treatment with CoolSculpting.

  • No. The temperature of the equipment against your skin will drop so low that your skin will actually be numbed. The only discomfort you may possibly experience would be any slight tenderness around that area from the cold temperature.
